Unfortunately, domestic/relationship violence occurs. Some of the signs of abusive relationships are obvious (physical violence (of any kind), yelling, pushing, bullying, bruising), but in most cases, by the time these obvious symptoms appear, the abuse has probably been going on for a while. Research some subtle signs of relationship abuse and write about two behaviors that you think people should be aware of. Controlling - If you're in a relationship with someone who is overprotective in a controlling sort of way that's a RED FLAG.

A controlling person in a relationship would keep track/limits of who you talk to on the phone, meet and socialize with. They also may not give you access to vehicles, money, credit card etc.  may also tell you to cover-up. Many victims may cover up the abuse as the perpetrator may have blackmailed them or manipulated them into believing its their fault, or that its out of love and stuff, this makes it difficult to spot a domestic relationship. If you think a friend could be in a domestic relationship, try to look out for signs such as over possesion, curfew, control, limitations and over-clinginess.
