In March 2018, hundreds of thousands of students rallied in Washington, D. C., to advocate for gun reform in post-Parkland America. Young victims of gun violence from across the country took to the stage to make the case that it was time for others to step aside because American youth were now the agents of change. Student speaker after speaker claimed that the time for change is now, that they would be the voting bloc of the future and that the National Rifle Association (NRA) had finally met its match.
