Why is being in control of a situation important in a bullying situation

Bullies usually tend to pick on those they find vulnerable. When someone is in control and stands up for themselves the bully is less likely to bully. You also want to take control by reporting the situation to make sure it doesn’t happen to other people and the bully learns the lesson to treat others the same way they would want to be treated.

To show your strength to the bully or tell him/her to stop, if he doesn't stop, tell her/him to the teacher.
