    The mass release of information in preventing virus and disease spread can have many positive effects. It can teach people the urgency of matters, educate them, and encourage them to take safety precautions like washing their hands, social distancing, wearing masks, etc. Unfortunately, the release of mass media information can also have negative effects. These negative effects are from something called mass media feed where people get frustrated or tired of seeing media, and the positive effects become less effective if not completely reversed.

     Reflecting on this article, I definitely think a lot of others and I can relate to it. Although this article was written in 2015, this article and the topic are very current with the coronavirus. Wearing a mask is no problem, in fact I think it should be done after the virus dies down, but staying home was definitely difficult. Seeing other people outside through the media and seeing people being told to stay home got tiring even though I was following protocol. Not everyone can be responsible enough to live up to those unfortunately, and the constant flood of news on the coronavirus definitely made me feel tired and fatigued.
