How do you deal with an annoying opinionated backbiting makefun parent without going insane and causing a stabbing?

just try to be calm and let whatever they say and do go,don't think about whatever they say and do by doing so they will eventually get tired and let u be,even if they continue u will be used to it and won't mean anything to u again
