Assignment Directions: Record a complete inning of a major league baseball game on TV. Write a script for the inning as if you were the announcer. You must include:

an introduction of the teams and leagues represented;
an introduction of the players and their positions;
an account of both teams' records using the statistics you learned in this lesson. Be sure to include batting statistics and statistics for the pitchers such as ERA, and
an account of any player that is controversial and/or a player to watch because of great talent or injury.
Assignment Guidelines:
List the time, date, TV station, and program on which the game was broadcast and make a recording of your game announcement. You will be graded on the accuracy of your account based on the rubric above. Please note: If you don't have access to a recent inning of baseball, you can use a pre-recorded inning.
