How can understanding how our eyes work help us understand how it’s possible for one person to look at something (a person, an object, or an event) and see something very different than somebody else?

People may see things differently than others depending on the perception, or the way someone sees something. An example is color blindness. While one person might be able to see a red water bottle while someone who's color blind may see a green water bottle.
