Revisiting your best memory with someone who is no longer in your life, someone who's probably never coming back, it seems kinda meaningless now. There was a time shortly after they left, where you imagined that you would always look upon this memory fondly, or at least you assumed the memory would always hole some emotional charge. It's possible that maybe you wore it out, like when you say a word over and over until it becomes nonsense. The relationship was lost, and you've more or less come to terms with that. But somehow revisiting this memory and feeling nothing feels like a new loss, like something sacred has been stolen from you. Silently, you resent the passage of time.

This isn't about sadness all in all, it's about moving forward, this maybe isn't a significant other, but maybe a friend, sorry this is so long, I dunno why it's here
