I’ve known a friend whose been in a toxic relationship. Their partner talked behind their back, faked a disorder for attention, and threatened to harm themselves if they talked with anyone else who was the opposite gender.

An abusive teen relationship I’ve had was with a boy who treated me as a therapist. He used me for my body over and over again and I thought that since “he loved me” it was okay. It most definitely was not and this mentally broke me down. He would mentally abuse me, telling me how weak and skinny I was. He would physically abuse me while being way too rough while “play wrestling”. I told myself “he’s just playing around but taking it too far.” He emotionally abused me while always commenting on how he will kill him self if I left him and said he will use my own words against myself in the situation that I left him, he would make the world think that I’m the reason he’s going to hurt himself.
