So why was she so keen on becoming a vampire. Doesn't she know vampires drink blood? Even though the Cullen's gave up human blood, they still drank animal blood. Is she mentally unstable? Just like when Edward left her for a couple of months? Bella needs therapy!

She was willing to give up her lifestyle to become a vampire and stay with Edward forever. And yes she knew she even asked about it once but they don't always have to drink blood but only when needed. I think she might be mentally unstable because it sounds more like hallucinations to me so maybe she was dreaming the whole time (like a secret ending that they didn't want to keep it cause it's sad :0)
