Choose a health profession (NOT a doctor, a PA, dentist, psychiatrist, nurse, or nurse practitioner) that has a license, certification or another formal credentialing mechanism. Examples include an epidemiologist, physical therapist, physician assistant, occupational therapist, health educator, athletic trainer, healthcare administrator, sanitarian/environmental health specialist, and more. Submit a 2-3 page double-spaced paper (not including references or critique of references). Use the following bullets as headings and write the paper in a question-answer format in the following order:

1. What are the roles, responsibilities, and restrictions (e. g. prescribing medications) placed upon your chosen health profession in the delivery of healthcare and/or public health services? Specifically, identify the roles in prevention.

2. What are the educational requirements including admissions prerequisites and admissions tests, license, certification or other credentialing requirements? Are there continuing education requirements?

3. What are the career opportunities including salary ranges and employment trends?

4. What do you conclude are the positive and negative aspects of the profession? Explain why you have come to each of these conclusions.
