Healthy ways to cope depression? Im trying to stop cutting and need a new coping method help?
I know this is my 3rd time asking but im looking for good solutions and i either get hate no one answering or the same answer over and over

A way that helped me was drawing butterflies on my arm each time I want to cut and naming them a person that is important to me. If I cut while having butterflies on my arm, they all die, but since the butterflies are named after someone I care about, I can't bring myself to cut. Does that make sense? Hope this helps!

For me, I do music. I make songs, and play instruments. When i dont feel like doing that, i end up going on a walk. Sometimes, you are really down when you just have to go outside for 5 minutes. Take a walk where you dont have to see electronics, if possible. Go out to nature, and just chill. If not, hang out with friends. I paint, and draw too. It helps a lot. If your room is messy, go clean it up. Organize your room, it will make you feel so much happier. Make sure when you clean, open your windows (if you have any) and let the light in. Sometimes all you really need is Vitamin D, or something like it. Just go out and do things that will bring you happiness.

I also draw a ton, i have one arm that's covered in drawings.
