Secondly, the juices mix with the food until it’s broken into nutrients, the folds in the wall soak up the nutrients. The nutrients pass into tiny blood vessels in the fold then blood carries the nutrients to the cell. Finally, food goes through three parts the cecum, colon, rectum.
