Team Huddle 1.1: Agility vs. Health

Jan can hit a softball farther than anyone on her team. She can also catch almost any fly ball. However, Jan is not a fast runner and she gets winded running around the bases. She also has a hard time touching her toes.

Jan has great motor skills, sometimes known as agility or athleticism. However, Jan’s health-related skills, such as her cardio-endurance or flexibility, are not as strong.

Do you think it is more important to be athletic or to be healthy? Explain your reasoning why?
