Why is it particularly difficult to keep toddlers cheerful during illness?

Hi there! Toddlers have normally only experienced a very few times being ill. They have confusing feelings or pain and don't know how to handle it. Instead of just letting their bodies handle it and continue on throughout the day, they become grumpy and restless. I hope this helps! If you need more help please let me know dear!!: )
