Support the idea that genetic testing and engineering could have dangerous consequences for society.

Genetic engineering has in the past been used to create herbicide resistant crops so that the herbicidal spray we use on weeds won't harm them. However there isn't enough research to support that there isn't going to be any terrible effects on us in the future or even that the weeds themselves could become herbicide resistant. Please not this does have many other advantages though! :) is one enough?x
