Explain three strategies which local municipality is implementing in addressing the issue of lack of clean water

Having and drinking clean water is human right and is essential to life. The water must be tested, treated and filtered in order not to have any contaminants that can lead do illness. Some of the strategies which local municipality is implementing in addressing the issue of lack of clean water are:
1. Good monitoring of the municipal water supplies
2. Desalination - removal of mineral components from saline water. The process is more costly but is a way to reuse water
3. Campaign for more efficient and more wisely usage of the water in order to make the people aware of the fact how important the natural resource water is.
