why do people think they can fix everything and then they try and they just end up making everything worse is it like an instinct or something bc it dont make since when people try when they know that they cant fix whats already broken

Its because at the moment you see someone hurt that you care about mentally or physically, you feel its your responsibility to fix it, to help them, and when you try you realize its beyond your control to help them and you just mess up even more...it becomes more broken then it already was
