Have to put my best friend down tomorrow..Her name is porkchop. She has cushings disease. My foster parents gave her to me before I had to switch to another foster family when I was 6. I stayed in a foster home when I was 8 and the parents, lets just say, were not very caring. She was there for me and loved me. I almost lost her when they wanted to get rid of her because of costs, but then I got to move to another foster family when I was 9. I went to another family that I'm currently with at 12, and then when I was 14 she was diagnosed. I thought she would live with me forever, but that was only a dream. the last week she had been in so much pain. she got dementia and had accidents in the kitchen and living room, so my parents had sat down with me on our couch a few hours ago and told me I had to let her go and stop the pain for her. It was really hard on me to hear this news, but I knew It was for the best. I've been crying and snuggling with her a lot. I will love you forever porky, just know you've always been my life-long bestie, and no dog can replace you..!Don't know what I'll do when I come home with a empty doggie bed.
