We have learned about child development, theories, social and emotional learning, and the domains of development. Now, you are going to take that learning and carefully analyze a case study on a child named Zoe. Here is what to do…

Look at the rubric closely
Read the case study on Zoe
Write a paper that addresses the following
Introduction-Paragraph 1
Brief overview of the child’s situation, including the sociocultural and family context, resources available or unavailable to the child, and other relevant information demonstrated through knowledge and understanding of multiple influences on early development and learning.
Body-Paragraph 2
Using Bronfenbrenner’s model, describe the ecological systems and factors influencing the child’s development demonstrated through knowledge and understanding diverse family and community characteristics.
Body-Paragraph 3 physical, 4 cognitive/language, 5 social and emotional
Address the three areas of development of the child (physical, cognitive/language, and social/emotional)-use research and theory to support your thoughts on the child in each of these areas. Make sure to explain what you feel the child needs and strategies that could help with further development.
Body-Paragraphs 6, 7, and 8
Application of developmentally and culturally appropriate teaching strategies to the planning of educational ideas appropriate for a specific child in poverty through knowledge and understanding of effective strategies and tools for early education, including appropriate uses of technology.
Conclusion-Paragraph 9
Conclude your case study write-up by sharing with the reader the major points you learned about the child in the case study. What needs does there appear to be and why? How can we help further support the child?

Hi, i would like you to comment on this comment or ask me about that task? *do you think that the subjective aspects as well as the opinions and attitudes of people can be measured scientifically and objectively? how do the three measurement scales we met in this module contribute to this topic?   yes. to science, we have at our disposal several methods to measure and analyze all kinds of natural and social phenomena (such as the opinions and attitudes of people) objectively.   the three scales of measurement provide interesting data to measure the opinions of people about an object, event or person. they are used for different situations depending on our object of study. the thurstone scale is used to measure the attitude of people through an opinion on a subject in question (usually religious or political), since it comprises a range of possibilities, thus being able to assess in detail and according to a punctuated list, the opinion of the respondent. the likert scale, however, allows to measure the degree of acceptance or rejection of people in a situation presented, being able to strongly agree, or in complete disagreement. finally, the bogardus social distance scale allows us to measure the attitudes of a group of people towards another social group. its main purpose was to measure racial and national prejudices.
