NHSC programs provide scholarships and student loan repayment to health care professionals in exchange of their services. They take service commitment to practice in designated areas across the country where there is a shortage of health care professionals. In my opinion good facilities for residence and higher pay will definitely attract the doctors to reside and practice in the rural areas of the country which automatically enhanced the care of people that lives in distant rural areas.
