Internet safety is vital to ensure that your identiy is protected, you do not get personal information stolen, and that you are not at risk for being kidnapped. Yes, to a certain extent, parents shoudl monitor what kids and teens are doing on the internet. It is often necessary for parents to monitor their children to ensure their safety,. that they are not being bullied or doing the bullying themsleves .It is also important for parents to ensure that teens are not making risky deicsions while on the internet like sennding inapropiate pictures.
