Disadvantages: very stressful, always on your feet, lifting patients so possible back aches and injuries, may have to work holidays or be on call every day even on weekends, and you're going to be around many disease and illnesses every day so you have a higher chance to get sick

Advantages: you're helping people and saving lives, you can always decide to higher your education and move up in the medical field, there are many different work place options (schools, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, mental health facility's etc)
