You just watched a commercial in which a popular singer picks up a soda before going on stage. when the singer drinks the soda, he appears to feel more confident. he then looks at the screen and says, "this is the soda i need to make me feel like a star! " what technique has the advertising company used to persuade you to buy the soda?

This is an example of a testimonial- a celebrity endorses a product, so that people think that they drink the soda, they can be like them too. This may also be linked to snob appeal. implying that the rich and popular drink the soda, too. 

Ithink the correct answer would be that since the disease is passed by a hand shake and can be cured with antibiotics that it could be an infection. an example could be that once when i was working in a bush camp, i got blood poisoning from blood blisters that got infected. our cook did not wash his hands after going to the bathroom and he passed staphyloccus on to the crew he fed. one other person also got a bad similar infection on the side of his face. i had to be rescued by helicopter and taken to the hospital so i wouldn't die!
