Abstinence is the practice of not having sex until marriage.

- Abstinence reduces the chance of an STD which are more likely to be contracted by teenagers who don’t know how to have safe sex.
- Abstinence can make the first time special because you waited the right person, or just the first one to come talk to you at a party.
Social:
- Practicing abstinence allows you to focus on the actual relationship rather than just the sexual relationship.
- Abstinence can help you really find the right person who likes you and not your body.
