What type of muscles are in the lining of blood vessels?

Blood vessels such as arteries and veins have connective tissue and certain types of smooth muscle cells. The endothelium is what lines most blood vessels. The basal lamina is usually the outermost layer. Vascular smooth muscles are what we usually call the muscles in the lining of blood cells.
