I believe education is always key when it comes to decreasing addiction cases for drug abuse. I also think support groups are very important when it comes to prevention of drug abuse, and a strong family backbone would be beneficial as well. Depression is one common factor why people get addicted to drugs, this is where strong family support comes into play. I think healthcare professionals should always emphasize this.
