Should health care practitioners be protected from consumer fraud suits over advertising?

I don't know. It depends on the practitioner. A quack needs to be sued. A person offering good service for the money paid even if amounts to healthy eating and sunshine found in places like Arizona should be left to practice their trade.

It really depends on the practitioner, there work history (dealing with customers), and how the consumer viewed it before they buy it (and what the outcome is). If they are truthful, but the consumer just thought it was something different, then yes they should be protected. However if they lied over advertising, then they should not be protected in the future
