On december 7th, 1941 pearl harbor was bombed, the u. s has been forced to join the war by the japanese. on february 19th, 1942 president franklin d. roosevelt signed executive order 9066. order 9066 gave the secretary of war the power to make camps to hold anyone he thought could be planning on espionage and to protect persons of japanese descent from harm at the hands of americans who had strong anti-japanese attitudes(japanese relocation during world war ii 2017). henry lewis stimson, the secretary of war during world war ii, had made the decision for the safety of the american people to place people of japanese descent into camps for the duration of the war. at the time of the war the american people thought the japanese should have stayed in the camp or go back to their homeland, and today it is a bit of controversy on whether or not it was violating to the right of freedom that the american-japanese had a loss to being placed in camps. my opinion is that yes they lose their freedom and rights they had as american but it was much better than what the american people would have done to them during the war. if you don't see my point let me you see it so let's compare what happened to them right after the bombing and what happened after they left the camps. before we go to what happened after the internment camps we need to look at what happened to the japanese after the bombing until order 9066 went through. during the day after the bombing of pearl harbor the fbi went and arrested 1,291 japanese community and religious leaders and froze their assets without any evidence(japanese internment camps,2018). and we already violated there 4th amendment and not one day has passed yet. after the war japanese-americans were in quite a predicament, many had no home to go back to, and more had no to little money. around 80% of japanese went back to their homeland can someone finish this last paragraph and add a conclusion i'm stuck and just don't know what to do
