Siccar Point is an unsteady headland in Berwick shire  situated in the eastern coast of Scotland. It became famous after Hutton’s gave his Unconformity about the place in 1788. James Hutton acknowledged it as a convincing evidence of his uniformitarian concept about geological development. He led a boat voyage to the place in 1788 and noticed the angular unconformity at some point. He later also observed that the rocks provide evidence of the theory and proved that the natural processes and law that operate in the universe never changes and can be applied anywhere.
