1.3.6 practice: write your own argumentative essay

I can't write your argumentative essay for you, but can give you reminders of the sorts of things to do to write a good argumentative essay.

First you will want to explore and narrow your topic and gather details.  Do good preparation in your pre-writing, research phase.

Then you will want to choose a focus or thesis for your essay, along with the points of evidence or persuasion that you plan to argue in line with that thesis/focus.  Do the  actual writing of your draft keeping that focus in mind and the audience to whom you are writing.

Finally, revise your work for clarity and word choice as well as checking your work for grammar, spelling, and punctuation  -- these are parts of the final revision process.
