Allies created this international organization after WW2 in order to prevent future wars and promote world peace and cooperation

one of the negative side effects were the economic losses the events of september 11th caused. many, many people lost their jobs as a result of a downturn in the economy after the terrorist attacks.

the tariff was created to protect industry in the northern part of the united states. industries in the north were being driven out of business by imported goods that were priced at a low rate. the goal was to protect these industries   by taxing the goods.
