How did the industrial revolution cause population migrations

When the Industrial Revolution was at its peak, factories were  rather high-paying job.  So, when people wanted to earn more money, factories were mostly in the north.  So people migrated to the north.

monarchy doesn’t have to have the hereditary element. there have been elective monarchies in the past where you choose your king-for-life and when he dies elect someone else for the job.
