How did tobacoo farming change settlement at jasmestown

As you may have known the plantation is the mid settlements were dying because of the lack of labor. Due to this issue they brought in slaves to work for them. The thing was they were getting treated unfairly. This led to many slaves trying to escape. Some of them succeeded while the others were punished or killed, but slavery wasn't the only thing that helped Platations such as the plantations in jamestown. James town was one of the many which succeeded. That meaning that there success was more different than others. They found the cash crop of Virginia (Tobacco). After jamestown started to grow tobacco it got very well known around Virginia and it was a common crop that was grown. As the settelments grew so did the cash crop its self.

in the 1800s, locomotives powered by steam made transportation faster and cheaper. the resulting rapid growth of railroads led to the connection of the atlantic and pacific railroad in oklahoma city in 1897.

in the last years of the century, the improvement of steam-based engines the expansion and growth of railroads. this growth increased when the companies started to build and expand, such as the atlantic and pacific railroad, which connected new mexico with california, and missouri with oklahoma. many of these new networks were built in oklahoma, and these changes transportation henceforward.
