Was andrew jackson a great president? opinions are mixed. what is yours? ! i need to construct an essay on this question for my final exam.

ok, here are a few ideas...

I believe Andrew Jackson was not a good president because:

He lied to the Native Americans

He stole land from them and forced them to walk the 'Trail of Tears'

He supported the Plessy VS Ferguson  case ( it ruled that African Americans were not people )

He killed multiple people to keep his 'good reputation'

When South Carolina began threatening secession, Jackson told a South Carolinian, "If a single drop of blood shall be shed there in opposition to the laws of the United States, I will hang the first man I can lay my hand on engaged in such treasonable conduct, upon the first tree I can reach."
