1) The locomotive was developed and perfected throughout the 19th century during the next century, it would become one of the main means of transportation, not only of people, but of merchandise and products. This means of transport joined large extensions of land as is the case of the US, India or Argentina.

2) Anesthesia was a very important step for medicine and played a transcendental role in humanity, especially during the great wars where it allowed to treat patients without suffering pain.

4) The Automobile, this invention had its apojeo during S XX was developed and improved during this century. This invention changed forever the morphology of modern cities.
