The Treaty of Versailles has further increased the sense of pride and nationalism among the German people, and that eventually led to the worst thing that has happened to the humanity, the World War II. The reason why the Treaty of Versailles had such an effect on the Germans was that it made big damage and sanctions on the German economy, with the people of Germany suffering and living in poverty. The frustrations grew, the people felt that they were stripped of their basic rights, and they saw an enemy that was trying to destroy them in any way possible. Once a political figure came on the scene that used all of those frustrations to gain power, the people saw a savior, and that led to the rise of Nazi Germany and the terrors of World War II.

This cartoon shows a German view of the Treaty of Versailles which shows that France Britain and America were treating germany like a naughty child who has less power than 3 men who are far more important than Germany. The first person is supposed to be France (The one in front) as they are very angry at Germany and wants them to be severly punished for the damage caused in the war. The seond person represents Britain (The on on the left). Britain wants Gemany to be punished for starting the war but not very harsh punishment. The third person is America (The one on the right). America wants Germany to be treated fairly so there would not be any more wars as Germany can strike another attack leading to war. However Britain and France ignored America and punished Germany which lead to another war. Which was WW2 (World War 2)
