But Tet offensive was a sudden movement that surprised the South Vietnamese and United States forces in the South Vietnam. A huge group North Vietnamese fighters started attack on military and civil areas of South Vietnam on January 30,1968 in m ore than 100 cities of South Vietnam.Soon they gained control of many cities.But then The South Vietnamese army and US force gained control.
