Describe the difficulties america faced in the pacific theater in terms of: delivering weapons, food, and medical supplies to troops.

The United States didn't found it easy and simple to provide their troops with weapons, food, and medical supplies in the Pacific Theater. There were several reasons for this. One of them was the large distance, and top of it having to deliver them through the largest body of water on the planet. Another problem were representing the Japanese war planes and navy, as there was always the possibility of an attack. The Pacific islands themselves also rep[resented a problem, as they are covered with dense tropical forests, so there was always the possibility of an ambush as it was impossible to see what and who is in the forests.
