In his fourteen points Wilson discussed the problems that he thought had caused the war (imperialism, territorial disagreement and nationalism). There was therefore a significant social change after WW1 and with the support of Wilson  women were granted to vote. Encouraged by this wave of democracy African American too started to demand civil rights. The war also had significant and positive economical impact as the United States made a lot of loans to the UK contributing in this way to the so called "roaring twenties" an economical flourishing time for the United States .
