How did europeans contribute to greece's struggle for independence from the ottoman empire?

The European countries like Great Britain, France and Russia helped Greece gain its independence from the Ottoman Empire. These countries formed an alliance in response to the Greeks’ appeal for mediation and had sent fleets and army troops to fight off attacks from Turks allies.
