The U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy was also called as Joseph Raymond McCarthy  was born in the year 1908 in month of 14th November. He was elected from the state of Wisconsin as Republican Senator in the 1947 and served till his death.

His anti communist’s activities are named as McCarthyism in reference to McCarthy's practices. Actually the downfall of McCarthy‘s happened after he has made open accusation against the army.

This conflict between the Army and McCarthy has lead to series of hearings (The Army–McCarthy hearings) in the year 1954 during the month of April to June which led to the downfall of U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy.
