Since forces is what having a paper airplane fly it also applies to real airplanes as well, when you fly a paper plane, you are pushing the plane forward. push is a force called thrust. while the plane is flying, the air is moving over and under the wings, the wings is what providing the lift force to the plane. air pushing back against the plane is slowing it down at the same time, creating the drag force. the larger the airplane is the heavier it will get, and the faster it will go down and a long airplane can last in the air longer because it cut through the air and reduced air resistance then a wide plane. but since the shape of the wings is what makes a plane fly we should measure how much it weighs tell me if this is a good summary by far. any changes do tell
