On june 24 1948 the soviet union blockaded west berlin from rest of west germany. how did the united states and the western europeans respond?

Wow this is actually very interesting! So the people that was blockaded was looseing supplies. So the United States decided to get their planes and drop food and medical packages. This made the US and everyone else betides Germany look like hero's. Then Germans that wasn't blocked was slowly going for the U.S. after they saw what they were doing was terrible.
