Where is cuzco located and why is it considered an important place

Cuzco is located in Peru and considered to be an important place because of its religious and capital of the Inca Empire.

Cuzco emerged as a administrative capital and religious for the Inca Empire between 1400 and 1534 CE. Cuzco founded by Manco Capac as he converted the place into a city-state for his kingdom of Cuzco that ruled the other neighboring lands. Today Cuzco considered to be one of the oldest inhabited city in the Americas.
