What is the difference between formal and informal education

Formal education: This type of education will have a curriculum and a standard that the teacher will have to follow. This type of education is what you learn in school. In this there will be an assenment to see if you passed or not, it's different from informal education because you have to learn what's given instead of learning from what's around you.Informal education: I'd describe this education as more of a go with the flow type of education. These forms of education are usually to better develop your understanding in a subject and are learned from a experience instead of a class. So this type of eduation you'll learn from a experience or a mentor, and it is not taught to you, and you might be more likely to have to find the answer yourself.
