How did Franklin exercise his use of the virtues?

A day is spent in every virtue and practiced. in the autobiography of benjamin franklin, franklin had described that there are 13 virtues that you must train yourself to live a good life. he made a journal to keep a record of your progress each day when exercising the virtues.

Just think, why was it effective? -it appeled to critics because it was written well, that made it noticeable to the public including the white population-it was also recognizable to the african americans because it was about their heritage.-it was powerful just keep finding more points and elaborate on them. message me if you need more
