What affect did the railroads have on cattle trails??

The Transcontinental Railroad helped the Cattle industry because it allowed a much safer and faster route to the west or even to the east if shipping goods for action or sending cattle to certain places, because before there was much more risk involved because of the 6 month journey to the west and also people or natives may try to steel the cattle.

explanation: we can only guess at how our actions may be perceived in the future. doing something really big like killing lots of people, saving lots of people, affecting the lives of lots of people is a sure fire way of being remembered in historical records. we can also make a difference in the history records by being a small influence on something bigger, whether that is as a civil servant, scientist or artist.
