Identify something from your life that one group of people knew before another because of their geographic location.

This is super late, but for the people who are also doing the same thing as me, which is this exact question. But I thought of this answer so you guys can use it as well.

The answer is disease because one area can have the knowledge of disease while another area of the world doesn't know about it.
