At once she prayed intensely to Poseidon:

And last, Poseidon, grant Telemachus and myself

Why are the Pylians having a feast in honor of Poseidon when Telemachus arrives at Nestor’s palace?

Poseidon is also at the palace and it is customary to honor gods when they visit.
Nestor takes his role as king seriously and honors the gods frequently for the sake of his people.
Poseidon has created an ocean storm and the people are trying to make it stop with a feast.
